“I am writing to congratulate you on your extremely high quality of employees.

An incident occured yesterday where my wife slipped and stumbled down our extremely steep driveway, crashing into our car at the bottom. I was in the house on the phone and had no idea of any problem until I saw Brian in the window waving franticly for me to come outside. To my horror, as I rounded the side of our house, I saw my wife lying motionless at the bottom of the driveway.

I can’t express my gratitude enough to Brian. He had propped her head off the ground with her purse and covered her with his coat. In conversation with my wife, he stayed with her reassuring her she would be fine and instructed her to take small breaths. The fact he was there and managed to stabilize her was a blessing, otherwise she would have been laying on the cold wet pavement for a least 30 minutes until the kids came home from school, subject to shock and hypothermia. Once Brian had done what he could for Carrie, he then came to get me. What a guy!

I don’t know if your company has a Christmas party for the staff, but if you do, please acknowledge Brian’s quick and thoughtful actions. I was thinking of putting a notice in the Tri-cities papers, but thought it might be embarassing for my wife who works with many kids from School District#43.

Again, I tip my hat to Weatherguard and its employees turning what could have been a sad holiday season into a happy one.

For the record, the doctor says she’ll be fine, just a little stiff and sore for a while.”
